Prepare A Delicious Orange And Chocolate Tart

Orange pie with chocolate ganache
Ingredients for the orange pie
- 3 eggs (180 g).
- 2 cups of sugar (200 g).
- 1/4 tablespoon of salt (2 g).
- 1 cup and a half of all-purpose flour (170 g).
- 1/3 cup of sunflower oil (80 ml).
- 1 package of chemical yeast (10 g).
- 1 large orange with lots of juice (50 g).
For the chocolate ganache filling and topping
- 3 spoons of honey (30 g).
- 2 tablespoons of butter (30 g).
- 2 cooking chocolate tablets (200 g).
- 2 cups of cream with 35% fat (200 ml).

- First, wash the orange well and cut it into small pieces, with the skin included. The sweeter the orange class, the better the pie will have.
- Grind the orange with the eggs, sugar and sunflower oil until you get a smooth mixture.
- In a large bowl place the mixture and add the flour, previously sifted with the yeast and salt. Beat in hand until everything is completely mixed.
- In a large mold, with flour and greased with butter, place the mixture in the oven at a temperature of 170 ºC for 35 minutes. Optionally, you can use the Grill to toast the pie on top.
Chocolate ganache preparation
- In a container, bring the cream, honey and butter to boil.
- In a bowl place the chopped chocolate. Add the mixture while still boiling until it completely covers the chocolate. Let stand for five minutes for the flavors to mix well.
- Mix well until you get a smooth paste. A few minutes later we can use the ganache as a filling and topping the pie.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of sugar (50 g).
- 1 medium egg (60 g).
- 1/2 cup of milk (50 ml)
- 1 bar of butter (75 g).
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa (10 g).
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour (100 g).
- 1/2 cup of orange juice (50 ml).
- A pinch of baking powder.
Method of preparation
- In a bowl mix the butter and sugar.
- Add wheat flour and baking powder, beat until smooth.
- Divide this mixture into two parts. To one add orange juice and mix well. The other add milk and cocoa and continue beating.
- In a previously greased mold, pour the two mixtures in a disordered way to obtain a marble cake.
- Optionally, we can add chocolate chips or nuts to the mix.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.
Orange and chocolate marble pie
Ingredients
- 2 cups of sugar (200 g).
- 6 medium eggs (360 g).
- 1 scoop of vanilla (5 ml).
- 7 spoons of butter (150 g).
- 5 large cups of all-purpose flour (500 g).
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder (10 g).
- 2 cups of orange juice (200 ml).
- 1 scoop of orange zest (5 g).
- 1 chocolate tablet (130 g)
Method of preparation
- In a bain marie, melt the chocolate bar and let it settle.
- In a bowl beat the butter with the sugar. We must obtain a creamy consistency, integrating both ingredients well.
- Add eggs one by one, stirring constantly.
- The flour and baking powder, mixed, are added alternately with the orange juice.
- Add the orange zest and vanilla. Mix well until achieving a homogeneous mixture.
- Set aside a cup to add it to the previously melted chocolate.
- Pour both mixtures into a mold greased with flour and set aside, alternating them to achieve the marble effect.
- Bake for one hour at a temperature of 170°C. You’ll know the pie is ready when we insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
- This delicious variation of the orange and chocolate pie can be decorated with chocolate chips, whipped cream, etc. Yours!
