Ingredients

  • 1 pinch of salt.
  • 2 eggs (60 g).
  • 2 apples (60 g).
  • 1 cup of milk (200 ml).
  • 1 tablespoon of flour (10 g).
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar (50 g).
  • 1/2 cup of leftover bread (100 g).
  • 1/4 of butter bar (60 g).
  • Jelly of any flavor.

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 190 ºC.
  2. Have the children butter a rectangular baking dish. They can do this with a brush or directly with their fingers.
  3. Wash, peel and cut the apple into thin slices (you can also leave the skin on).
  4. Let the children cut the bread with their hands  and place it in a bowl with the milk, eggs, previously melted butter and flour.
  5. Beat well until you get a uniform dough.
  6. Put half of the dough on the baking sheet.
  7. Place a layer of sliced ​​apples on top and cover with remaining batter.
  8. Finish with another layer of apples.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes.
  10. Let it cool a little and unmold.
  11. Brush with a little jelly for shine.

  • Raisins.
  • 1 banana (40 g).
  • 5 eggs (100 g).
  • 2 cups of milk (400 ml).
  • 8 tablespoons of sugar (90 g).
  • Butter (approximately 30 g).
  • 10 dried madeleines (or biscuit remains).
  • 3 slices of pineapple (can be fresh or in syrup).

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200 ºC.
  2. Ask the children to butter a baking sheet. To do this, they can use a kitchen brush or the back of a spoon.
  3. Cut the banana into slices and set aside.
  4. Cut the pineapple slices into pieces.
  5. Soak the raisins in some warm water. You can also use a syrup to give the grapes a special flavor.
  6. Have the children break the madeleines with their fingers and dip them in a glass of milk.
  7. Beat the eggs with the sugar and the rest of the glass of milk.
  8. Add egg mixture to madeleines and mix well until smooth.
  9. Add fruit and mix.
  10. Place the preparation on the baking sheet and cook in a bain-marie  for approximately 40 minutes.
  11. Allow to cool and unmold.
